Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek - The RE:Union Mixtape

Talib Kweli & Hi TEK - The RE:Union Mixtape

Talib Kweli and Hi Tek hook up again to bring forth this prefix to an upcoming Reflection Eternal project.
RE:Union The Mixtape is well made and demonstrates the reason why Talib Kweli is an MC's MC and all Hip Hop Heads long standing FAVORITE!
This tape features rehashes of old Reflection Eternal tracks, new songs alleged to be featured on The upcoming project. There is also a couple of Remixes and unreleased demos and what not. This tape is DOPE! I am really digging this, this is what Hip Hop should be like. RE:Union is crawling in Memorable lines, certified Quotables on every song.
The energy of Reflection Eternal is truly made Eternal, proving there is probably no other connection in Hip Hop that can produce authentic Hip Hop with such consistency and taste.
We are reminded of Biggie with the accompaniment of Biggie verses scratched in to the chorus, Biggie is also reflected upon. Hip Hop is ressurected by Talib and Styles P the Ghost, They declare the Thrill is gone but then bring it back with You Can Like Hip Hop Again!
Talib's Multi crazed lyrical escapades are at their best on this tape. No track suffers, every beat is PURE HEAT!
Mos Def, Common and even a joint with both new comers: Jay Electronica and J. Cole, bring their talents tot he table and All features are worthy of being on this project.
I enjoy this Mix Tape and think plenty of MCs and Rappers could learn a WHOLE lot from RE:Uion The Mix Tape. This joint doesn't try to be a Mix Tape or an Album, It is a SOLID WORK! A Work of Art that is indeed PURE.
